Do I need to print out my tickets or show a receipt?
All guests need to bring is a valid ID, such as a driver’s license or a passport to prove they are 21 years or older. Attendees do not need to print off any tickets, receipts, or show any proof of purchase on their smartphone.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All attendees must be 21 years or older to enter, even if they are not drinking beer. Guests must present valid ID at entry, such as a driver’s license or passport.
Can children or infants attend the event?
Due to alcohol being served at the event Brew at the Zoo is for adults only. Infants and children will not be admitted.
Is there a different ticket fee for designated drivers or non-alcohol drinkers?
All tickets are $55 per attendee, regardless of attendee drinking alcohol or non-drinking attendee, and designated drivers. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Parking options and overnight parking?
Parking is available in the Zoo's main lot, in the field to the east, and the MHS parking lot. Sunset Zoo wants all guests to drive responsibly, so guests’ vehicles may be left in the zoo parking lot overnight and picked up the next day.
What should I wear to the event?
Dress is business casual; keep in mind you will be strolling the Zoo throughout the event.
What is the refund policy?
Brew at the Zoo is held rain or shine and is a fundraiser for the Zoo. As such, refunds are not offered. Your donation supports the Zoo and its efforts to "inspire conservation of the natural world.
Can I pay with Check or Cash?
Yes, to pay with cash or check you must do so in person at the Zoo's ticket booth during regular business hours. Tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Ticket cannot accept credit card payments; Eventbrite only accepts credit card payment with a service fee.
Can I smoke at the event?
Sunset Zoo is a smoke-free and vape-free park. A designated smoking area is located outside of the Zoo’s entry gate in the parking lot 20 feet or father from the entrance due to riley county law.
Are face masks required?
Face masks are not required inside all zoo buildings or on zoo grounds. Complimentary face masks and hand sanitizing bottles will be available.
No, there are a limited number of tickets available. If the event sells out, there will not be tickets available at the gate.
Sunset Zoo does not condone ticket resales, ticket scalping, or ticket touting to any events at Sunset Zoo or any events presented by Friends of Sunset Zoo. Sunset Zoo and Friends of Sunset zoo is not responsible for any tickets purchased from secondary sources, such as individuals, or other companies other than Eventbrite.
Note, there are no physical tickets to Brew at the Zoo, but instead a master guest list generated through Eventbrite.com. To confirm validity of a Brew at the Zoo ticket please contact Sunset Zoo at (785)587-2737
What happens if it rains?
Brew at the Zoo is held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. It will still be fun but we may have to move a few things around!
What is with the camera?
This event will have an event photographer taking photos through the day. These photos are for Sunset Zoo use only and may appear on the Sunset Zoo website, social media outlets, or other future Sunset Zoo promotional/marketing material. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to usage of your likeness in such media.
